Welcome home dinner Saturday
The Legion and the Lutheran Ladies Aid will give a dinner Saturday evening at the school gymnasium for every Ellery man and woman home from the service. Twenty-six have come back so far. All are invited, and there is no charge.
Moving away
Dr. Harold Lund, who has looked after Ellery since before the war, closed his office on Second Avenue Saturday and will leave next week for Billings, where he will join a clinic. The council has written to the state medical association asking for help in finding a doctor. Until one comes, the nearest doctor is in Havre.
Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Brekke have sold their house on First Street and moved to Washington, where Mr. Brekke has work in the shipyards.
