Hanson Studio files
Ray Hanson took Ellery's pictures for the better part of fifty years: weddings, ball teams, 4-H, school pictures, families. When he closed the studio, his files came to the town, and they've been in boxes in the town hall basement since.
Marlys Sundby has been scanning his contact sheets for us, a box at a time. These are the boxes she's done so far, with more to come. A contact sheet is the whole roll printed straight from the negatives, so you'll see every shot, not just the ones that got printed.
Ray filed everything by job number and never wrote down the year, so we haven't either. If you know a face or a date, let us know at the office.
