Eagles take third at district
The Ellery Eagles finished third at the district tournament Saturday, beating Dodson 51 to 47 in the consolation game. Gary Thomsen led the Eagles with 19 points. Coach Vern Tande said it was the best team Ellery has had in years, and that six of the nine will be back next winter.
