Len Voss named town clerk
Agnes Voss is retiring as Ellery's town clerk at the end of the month, and the council at its Monday meeting named her son Len to take her place. Len has helped his mother in the clerk's office for several years. He has also been hired as Ellery's census taker and will begin going door to door April 1.
Weather
Early thaw
Temperatures in the fifties melted most of the snow in town this week. The creek is running high but has stayed in its banks.
