New typewriter for the clerk
The clerk's office has a new electric typewriter. The old manual machine, in use in the clerk's office since 1946, could no longer be repaired, and the town council voted at its March meeting to buy a new one from Hi-Line Office Supply of Havre for $589. It was delivered March 15.
"It's a lot faster," said town clerk Len Voss. "I'll have the minutes out in half the time."
