The last class at Ellery High

Ellery High School graduated its last class Sunday, four seniors, the 86th class since the first in 1914. This fall Ellery's high school students will ride the bus to the consolidated district's high school, and the Eagles will play under a new name. Ellery's school will keep kindergarten through eighth grade.

Superintendent Ron Thomsen read the names of every valedictorian since 1914. It took a while.

Memorial Day

The Legion will hold its Memorial Day service at the cemetery at ten, rain or shine.
