A contact sheet of six square frames in two strips of three, the rest of the paper blank. Written in grease pencil at the top: 1174, Haugen family. Frames 1 to 3: a farm family of five against the studio's mottled brown backdrop: the father in a western-cut shirt, the mother in a rust blouse, two boys in plaid and a striped sweater, and a little girl in a yellow dress. Frames 4 to 6: the three children alone in front of the same backdrop, the girl on a stool between her brothers. — Sheet 1
